Beckys Beezzzs Ltd
Beckys Beezzzs are honeybee farmers based in Andover and Headley, Nr Newbury. It was born out of their love for the honey bee and they have over 100 honey bee colonies sited in apiaries across Hampshire and Berkshire. Their bees forage on a variety of flowers both wild and in the garden, orchards, farm crops and hedgerows to bring you honey that tastes wonderful and is pure and natural. They take some of their hives to the New Forest each year so the bees can forage on the heather. This produces beautiful cut comb whilst at the same time allowing their bees to fill up their brood boxes with superb quality food ready for winter. Their honey can be found in delicatessens, farm shops, village shops, and health food shops across Hampshire.
Using the traditional method, Cottonworth are focused on producing high quality English sparkling wine from the three classic varieties: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier.
Cottonworth is located in the heart of the Test Valley in Hampshire and is home to the Liddell family who have been farming there for four generations.
Over the last 10 years they have carefully selected 30 acres of prime vineyard sites with quality first and foremost in mind. The south facing slopes, chalk soil and temperate microclimate ensure the best conditions for growing grapes of exceptional quality.
The chalky soil is a wonderful medium in which to plant vines for sparkling wine production, as it will drain very easily but keep just enough water for the vines to function at their best. Chalky soil is also poor in nutrients, which stresses the vines – helping to produce superior fruit. Gently stressing the vines is one of the key elements for producing great wine. If the vines are a little stressed, like a great artist or poet, they seem to react by producing a more interesting and complex result. Thus, along with the challenging climate, England is fast becoming an ideal place to grow great sparkling wines!
Hill Farm Juice
Will Dobson is behind this family owned and run business, helped by a team of local staff. Apple juice has been pressed at Hill farm since the 1970s as part of a substantial fruit farm supplying apples and pears to the supermarkets.
Hill farm is located in the South Downs National Park about 8 miles from Winchester; here there is a micro-climate which (conveniently) is beneficial to the growing of excellent apples and pears. A perfect spot for juice making.
Over the years, their juices (which have absolutely no added sugar) have won quite a few awards including Great Taste Awards, Hampshire Farmers’ Markets in Romsey and Winchester and at various shows around Hampshire and the neighbouring counties. They also carry out frequent tasting sessions at several of their stockists.
Laverstoke Park Farm
Laverstoke Park Farm is spread over 2,500 acres of rolling Hampshire countryside near Overton and is owned by ex-Racing Driver and Formula 1 World Champion Jody Scheckter . He wanted to create a farming environment that would follow nature as closely as possible, combining 21st century science, together with the most environmentally friendly farming methods available. His farm’s aim is to become self-sustaining and self-sufficient producing the best-tasting, healthiest food without compromise. Everything they do stems from that and to achieve this they create the most ideal, natural, healthy environment that will enable their animals and crops to thrive. All of Laverstoke Park Farm is proud to be certified biodynamic by Demeter or Organic by the Soil Association.
Beverages are just one area of their produce and they pride themselves on producing drinks with the best flavour and aroma. For their organic lager and ale, they use traditional hop varieties, some dating back to 1830, and ensure the biology of the soil is just right. Their lager and ale have deep organic flavours as a result the Laverstoke Pilgrim’s Lager was voted best organic lager.
Little Bee Bakery
Little Bee Bakery is a family run artisan bakery based in Romsey. The business has grown rapidly by its reputation and they produce high quality, delicious, handmade cakes, biscuits, iced biscuits, tray bakes, tea cakes, whoopie pies, scones and oatcakes. As a proud member of Hampshire Fare, they are committed to sourcing as many of their ingredients as possible from fellow Hampshire producers. Everything is baked in small batches ensuring the best quality product reaches their customers and no shelf life preservatives are added to anything they make. Gluten free, dairy free and vegan ranges are available.
Meon Valley Cider
Craft cider maker producing a range of refreshing ciders in the heart of the beautiful Meon Valley. They use their own and locally-sourced apples as well as cider apples from the West Country to create a delicious drink – “Cool as a Chalk Stream”. Their sparkling and still ciders can be found in local shops, independent pubs and wine bars.
Riverside Artisan Foods
Riverside Lifestyle began when the owners first offered Riverside Cottage and a nearby lodge for self-catered accommodation. They added a contemporary yurt in the garden for dinners, to sleep in or for workshop activities, and a riverside studio for art and yoga/pilates or simpy to relax in! Riverside Lifestyle also offers wellbeing retreats on set dates to enable guests to unwind.
Within the Riverside grounds, lavender is grown which goes into some of their own range of delicious artisan jams, marmalades and chutneys which are truly artisan with high quality ingredients and no artificial additives or preservatives. Made in small batches to ensure their magnificent taste. The lavender is also used in their locally produced soaps and creams. Riverside encourages a healthy lifestyle and is keen to support local businesses.
Test Valley Gin
Test Valley Gin is handcrafted, herb-infused small batch gin that was launched in February 2017 by Kate and started its life in jam jars in the kitchen as she trialled different flavours until finding the ones she was really happy with.
Kate does everything by hand and is assisted by her family. There are no flavouring or essences and she infuses fresh herbs that her mother grows before bottling, labelling, sealing and delivering each bottle. It is a labour of love for Kate and she is thrilled that she has a growing number of satisfied customers.
The Cold Pressed Oil Company
Based in a listed barn in the delightful Hampshire countryside, they produce their multi award winning Pure Extra Virgin Rapeseed Oil from seed that is grown on their farm. By using the traditional method of Cold Pressing, they are able to extract the oil from the seed and maintain all of its natural goodness. The result is a deliciously smooth, nutty flavoured oil that is the perfect accompaniment to any dish. They have developed a range of different products (dressings, infusions and sauces) that all use their award winning cold pressed rapeseed oil. Each product has its own distinct flavour allowing you to enhance your dishes.
They have been awarded 2 gold stars in the 2017 Great Taste awards, which was the highest award given to any rapeseed oil in that year’s competition. They also won a gold star in the 2014 Great Taste awards for their oil. These awards highlight their ambition of producing a fantastic British oil.

The Wessex Wild Plum Company
Their award winning wild plum drinks have been enjoyed for over 25 years and are made near Alresford to traditional recipes with artisan methods, slowly produced using only plums, a delicate gin and fine sugar. They contain 23% alcohol by volume and are free of all preservatives and colourings. All of their drinks are subject to seasonal availability and production patterns.
Turner Hardy & Co
Turner Hardy & Co was created in 2015 by old friends, Eddie Turner and Hugo Hardman and is based in Awbridge near Romsey. In collaboration with others, they had the purpose of creating a portfolio of British produce that showcases the fruits and labours of this green and pleasant land. Hugo and Eddie have been in the food and drink business for over 25 years and shared a love of proper foods and fine drinks. Their first venture led them to the Isle of Wight where they found the delicious tomatoes that they then used to make into bottles of juice. The potential health benefits of tomatoes are very well known.
A good juice is made from the fruits, not from the concentrate, and the tomatoes are grown in greenhouses by the sea which, from the reflection of the water, means that they get more joules of energy from the sun, further enhancing their flavour. The plants are pollinated by British bees; they are tendered daily by hand and they stay on the vine until all the tomatoes are rich red in colour. 8 tomatoes go into a 250ml bottle of tomato juice and they have developed a range of 3 juices for different times of the day or occasions. They are perfect for brunch, lunch, supper and in-between. Delicious straight up or mixed with spirits and even with a “sunshine” beer for a most delicious Michelada.
A small family company now based in Southsea that was started by Jayne and David in the Yarty Valley, hence the company name. They specialise in products that only use natural ingredients and all their products are lovingly handmade, hand-bottled, hand-labelled and truly artisan from old family recipes as well as new ones they have created themselves. They have developed a special method of gentle pasteurisation which enables them to create their cordials without the addition of any artificial colourings, preservatives or flavourings and with a large percentage of fresh fruit juice. Yarty supply top end events and the corporate market and has become known in the trade as the covert cordial, as it is not found everywhere and is chosen for its quality and exclusivity. The cordials are so versatile and tasty that they are also a perfect base for inventive and unusual cocktails.
